READ/HEAR THE WORD
I have stored up your word in my heart.

The heaviness of our flesh will deafen our spiritual ears. This is a hearing disorder that makes you not to hear your creator; "The Lord Jesus". In order to achieve this, we need to kill our flesh. Your greatest enemy is your flesh! Pray that the lord "will pull us into his will with the sacrifice of our fasting". Fasting is spiritual and has benefits to our spiritual being, the lord Jesus lets us know that there are problems, situations, demons in our life that without fasting, cannot go away [Matthew 17:21] "Howbeit, this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting". It takes fasting to uproot and deliver some demonic influences around us.
Prayer - O Lord! Teach me how to make fasting a service and be consistent in it.
The bible records how Anna; a prophetess, the daughter of penuel of the tribe of Asher. Saying 'she never left the temple but worshiped night and day with fasting and prayer [Luke 2;36-38]. It is possible to attract things with fasting, there is power in a consistent fervent prayer and fast of a man. Food is a huge burden in the spiritual realm that weighs down your spirit, giving it the inability to ascend into heights and tap from the glory realm that God has granted us access into. one of the spiritual force that grows our faith is the force of fasting and that of our prayers.
Faith is a spiritual transacting force that we use and a man that wants to transact will be determined based on the faith of that man. Where a man with greater faith can call things into reality is not the same as a man with little faith can do. When your faith grows, so does your ability to transact with God. Faith is a currency and our bible lets us know that the just shall live by faith. Your needs can be large and if your faith is little - you'll find it difficult solving that need. Child of God! Our Master wants you to grow in faith and believe him deeply in his word for what he has said about those who are in Christ Jesus. A key-take-home to note is that fasting separates you from the common. In our text from Nehemiah 9: 1 -3, the seed of Israel separated themselves from all foreigners, with fasting, repentance and confessing their sins to God. You need to know fasting has the ability to take you to where God's will is for your life and also unlocks the answers to questions, troubles and situations that seem impossible to solve in life.
